What is Advent Christian?

AC stands for “Advent Christian.” Garner AC Church is affiliated with the Advent Christian General Conference (ACGC), a denomination of Christian churches in North America, with mission works and partnerships in countries around the world.
People commonly confuse Advent Christian with the Seventh Day Adventist, but we are not affiliated with the SDA church.
Our denomination has been around since the 1800s, and we are committed to spreading the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ, proclaiming the hope that He will one day return.
While we wait, we occupy ourselves with obeying His commands to love God, love people, and make disciples (Matthew 22:37-40; 28:19-20).
Garner AC Church is a part of the Association of Evangelicals of America.
