Volunteering at GACC

We're so excited that you're interested in volunteering. Below, we've included descriptions for the five volunteer ministry team opportunities. If you're interested in serving, you can apply online. If you're interested in serving on more than one volunteer team, you'll need to fill out an application for each individual team. Volunteer Ministry Opportunities​​

  • Welcome team: The hospitality team is focused on creating a welcoming and nourishing environment for worshippers and guests. This team ensures that all attendees feel valued and comfortable, whether during regular services, special events, or community gatherings. If you enjoy meeting people and offering warm hospitality, this would be a great service opportunity for you.

  • Helps team: The helps team is focused on providing physical support for the ministry of GACC. This team offers assistance in a variety of behind the scenes ways. This includes setting up tables and chairs, cleaning up after events, and transporting people to doctor's appointments, etc. If you enjoy helping without the fanfare, this would be a great service opportunity for you.

  • Prayer team: The prayer team is focused on providing prayer support for the ministry of GACC. This team of prayer warriors is committed to praying for the ministry of GACC. This includes outreach, worship services, church leaders, spiritual transformation, and reaching lost people. If you believe in the power of prayer—and that your prayer can make a difference—then this ministry opportunity would be a great fit for you.

  • Worship team: The worship team is focused on leading God's people into a spirit of worship which brings honor and praise to God. This sacred ministry is composed of instrumentalists and singers uniting together to make God-glorifying music. If you have instrumental or vocal skill, and you would like to use that skill to glorify God, then the worship team ministry might be a great service opportunity for you.

  • Children's ministry team: The children's ministry team is focused on helping children learn about Jesus and how they can become devoted followers of Jesus, even at a young age. This team is teaching the basics of Christianity to young minds with the hope of anchoring them to the truth of God's word. If you love kids, enjoy interacting with them, and/or enjoy teaching them, this would be the ministry opportunity for you. Please note that you will be required to read and sign a Code of Conduct for this position.
